MJSD™ Terms
Terms for entering—and continuing—the record.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern thisismjsd.com, MJSD™ credentials, reflective experiences, recognition records, gifts, Google Wallet passes, support, fulfillment, and physical or digital embodiments offered by MJSD2345 LLC (“MJSD,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
1. Acceptance and eligibility
By accessing or using MJSD, creating or claiming a credential, completing a purchase, accepting a gift allocation, saving a Wallet pass, or requesting fulfillment, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Credential Relationship and Recognition Standard.
You must be at least 18 years old to enter a binding purchase or recipient claim. A minor may participate only with appropriate parent or guardian supervision and consent. A parent, guardian, sponsor, or other payer may pay for another participant, but payment does not make the payer the credential owner and does not transfer another person’s status or journey.
2. What MJSD is
MJSD™ means My Journey of Self Discovery. It is a cultural, creative, artistic, and participatory experience built around reflection, recognition, storytelling, credentials, relationships, and physical embodiments.
MJSD invites exploration without defining the participant. Self-discovery is the unfolding process. Self-definition remains the participant’s right.
3. Private performance invitations
A Founder-selected private performance invitation is personal, revocable, and non-transferable. The invited adult must verify the designated email address, review and electronically accept the current MJSD™ Private Performance Cohort Confidentiality & Feedback Agreement, and use the invitation only for the stated private evaluation purpose.
- Do not forward the invitation, share access, publish screenshots, or record unreleased material without written permission.
- Sponsored cohort access may establish one participant-owned credential without a Stripe payment. It does not create Founder, Launch Holder, Founder-linked, investor, employee, spokesperson, endorsement, or public-recognition status.
- Feedback may be used internally to evaluate and improve MJSD™. Recording, anonymous quotation, identifiable quotation, name, image, voice, likeness, testimonial, and publicity permissions remain separate choices.
- The specific confidentiality agreement shown and accepted through the invitation controls if it conflicts with general language in these Terms.
4. Credentials, access, ownership, and continuity
- An MJSD credential is a unique participation and authenticity record. It is not a government identity document, security, investment, payment card, membership discount card, or guarantee of future value.
- The payer and credential owner may be different. The credential owner recorded by MJSD controls the continuing experience.
- The live MJSD registry and exact-reference verification response are the source of truth. A screenshot, email, printed copy, certificate, or Wallet pass is a presentation of that record.
- Verified recovery works from the existing credential. A participant is not required to repurchase solely to restore access.
- Credentials, access rights, Wallet identity, journey history, registry records, and recognition are not ordinary transferable property.
- A physical embodiment may change hands, but that act does not transfer or change the associated credential, recognition, or journey record.
- MJSD may suspend or revoke access obtained through fraud, duplication, chargeback abuse, unauthorized use, or material violation of these Terms, subject to applicable law.
5. How AI supports reflection
Some MJSD language may be generated or refined with artificial intelligence. AI output can be incomplete, unexpected, or inaccurate. The AI offers a reflection. The person decides what it means. It does not define or determine identity or make binding decisions for a participant.
You retain responsibility for what you submit and how you interpret or use the output. Do not submit information you are not authorized to share.
6. Purchases, pricing, and payment
- Prices and configurations shown at Checkout control the transaction. Stripe processes payment and may send the official payment receipt.
- Claiming or configuring an embodiment does not establish ownership. Ownership begins only after MJSD verifies successful payment and records the acquisition against the credential.
- Listed prices may include standard shipping as stated on the product or Checkout page. Taxes, duties, or disclosed exceptional shipping charges may be additional.
- MJSD may correct obvious pricing, description, availability, or configuration errors before fulfillment. If a material correction affects an already-paid order, we will contact the payer or credential owner with the available options.
7. Gift allocations and recipient claims
A gift allocation is a paid or sponsored entitlement set aside for a recipient. It does not transfer the sponsor’s credential, recognition, Wallet pass, profile, rewards, responses, or private journey.
- The recipient must use the private claim link, verify an email address, accept these Terms, and complete the claim.
- A paid allocation may issue one new recipient-owned credential. A claim cannot be duplicated or reassigned after issuance.
- The recipient receives the next available public credential under the current edition rules; a particular number is not promised unless MJSD expressly records a reservation.
- Launch Holder, Founder, Founder-linked, and other recognition do not accompany a gift automatically.
- If a gift is refunded before claim, the allocation may be cancelled. If already claimed, refund handling may affect the issued credential according to the payment and refund policy.
8. Recognition and relationship records
The Credential Relationship and Recognition Standard is incorporated into these Terms. Its current principal categories include:
- Launch Holder: the singular historical recognition attached to Public Position 001. It is distinct from Founder status and does not grant company ownership or governance authority.
- Founder or Founding Participant: a historical designation approved by authorized MJSD leadership and bound to one canonical credential, one unique Founder number, and one authoritative certificate.
- Founder-linked: a continuity relationship between another credential owned by the same recognized Founder and the one canonical Founder record. It creates no second Founder status, number, or certificate.
- Authorized presentation copy: a recorded copy of an existing recognition certificate. It preserves the original certificate ID and does not create or transfer status.
Recognition is not for sale. Purchasing a credential or embodiment is neither required nor sufficient by itself. MJSD may deny or revoke a recognition obtained through fraud, duplication, impersonation, or material misrepresentation. A legitimate recognition is not revoked merely because a participant later stops purchasing products.
9. Shipping and fulfillment
When stated as included, standard shipping applies within the contiguous United States. Additional charges may apply for Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, international destinations, expedited delivery, remote-area surcharges, oversized packaging, duties, taxes, or special handling. Any additional amount must be disclosed and agreed to before it is charged or before fulfillment proceeds.
The MJSD fulfillment sequence is Paid → In Production → Ready to Ship → Shipped → Delivered. Carrier, tracking, estimated delivery, delivery exceptions, self-fulfillment, or local handoff may be recorded when applicable. Fulfillment updates change delivery status only; they do not change credential identity, recognition, or participant ownership.
Production and delivery dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing. MJSD is not responsible for carrier delays, customs delays, inaccurate addresses supplied by the purchaser, or events outside reasonable control, but we will assist with a documented delivery issue.
10. Cancellations, returns, defects, and refunds
Contact support@thisismjsd.com promptly. If production has not begun, MJSD may be able to cancel or correct an order. Personalized, credential-numbered, or made-to-order artifacts may not be cancellable or returnable once production begins, except where required by law or where the item is defective, damaged, materially different from the confirmed configuration, or shipped incorrectly.
Report a damaged, defective, or incorrect item within 14 days after delivery and include the credential number, order details, and photographs where appropriate. Approved remedies may include correction, replacement, store credit, or refund. Stripe refund communications do not by themselves change credential ownership until the MJSD record is updated.
11. Intellectual property and participant content
MJSD™, A.P.A.R.T., OBVIOUS, LOUD SILENCE™, and other proprietary names, marks, logos, visual systems, text, software, credentials, certificate designs, and related content are owned by or licensed to MJSD2345 LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. The examples listed here are illustrative and not exhaustive. MJSD2345 LLC reserves all rights not expressly granted in these Terms.
You may use your personal credential, certificate, authorized presentation copy, acquisition record, and images of an embodiment you own for personal, noncommercial display and sharing. You may not reproduce, alter, scrape, reverse engineer, impersonate, counterfeit, or commercially exploit MJSD marks, credentials, certificates, content, or systems without written permission.
You retain ownership of original content you submit. You grant MJSD a limited, nonexclusive license to process, store, secure, display back to you, and use that content only as reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, protect, and improve the MJSD experience, subject to the Privacy Policy.
12. Availability and changes
MJSD may add, remove, pause, or change features, products, levels, prices, reward logic, recognition criteria, fulfillment processes, or availability. We will not retroactively create a new charge without authorization. We may update these Terms; continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MJSD is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free AI output, permanent availability of a product, or any resale, investment, social, professional, or economic value.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MJSD2345 LLC and its officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, goodwill, or opportunity arising from the service. Our aggregate liability for a claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to MJSD for the transaction giving rise to the claim or $100, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Illinois law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before filing a formal claim, contact support@thisismjsd.com and allow 30 days for a good-faith effort to resolve it. Unless applicable law requires another forum, disputes may be brought in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.
